Tourne de Transmission's 2017 Spring/Summer Collection Wants You To 'Choose Your Escape Route'

For its 2017 spring/summer collection, Tourne de Transmission looked to New York City-based contemporary artist Chris Dorland to help translate into clothing how shelters in some Third World countries are made from discarded Western billboards. On the runway presentation we see the technical construction that echoes the inspiration -- asymmetric hems, cutout sleeves, patchwork patterns and subtle hints of colorful graphics.
